I have been training with Chris for the past four months, starting about six months after a knee surgery. When I first came to him, my main goal was simply to regain strength and mobility. Thanks to his guidance, I am now not only walking and running again, but I genuinely feel stronger than I did before the surgery. He is incredibly professional, attentive, and clearly very knowledgeable. Every session is well planned and adapted to how I’m progressing, which made a huge difference during my knee rehabilitation. Chris is a fantastic personal trainer, and I have seen massive improvement since starting sessions with him 5 months ago. His knowledge and understanding has meant that despite my previous injuries and joint pain, I have not only got stronger but my day to day pain has significantly reduced, and this is all down to how he he's worked with me and tailored my plan to avoid pain & build strength. I first started training with Chris because of a chronic tennis elbow that had been keeping me from bouldering for almost a year. My goal was to get a workout plan that would help me keep up my climbing strength without aggravating my elbow pain. Chris has given me so much more than that! From the first meeting he's been incredibly supportive and considerate and worked with me to find out what exercises and modifications worked, often checking in between sessions to ask about the impact. Training with Chris over the past few months has done more to rehab my elbow than any physios I've seen over the past year, and I've even been able to start climbing again! I love the progress I've seen with Chris's coaching. He's encouraging, explains things clearly and makes sure I feel like I'm challenging myself every session. Even though it's only been a few months, I already feel so much stronger and I'm excited to see how far I can go!

All that has changed! A year on, I’m still training with Chris, I am a lot stronger and enjoy going to the gym 4 times a week. Chris is really caring and puts together PT sessions where I can challenge myself while making sure my form is good and I have progressed loads. Chris has also done me programs for all my other gym days and he checks in regularly outside of PT sessions to see how I’m doing. I’ve never felt as fit and strong as I do now. Chris goes over and above for his clients. Above all else he’s a decent and kind human being. I highly recommend him.

I'm 74 years old and I started PT with Chris in February’22. My aim was to include some resistance work into the rehab work I had slowly been building up following a severe cartilage injury in 2020. Chris listened well and was good at understanding my needs. He was also sensitive to my fear about further damaging my knee so took PT at a pace I could cope with. He was very encouraging and slowly built up my confidence. My knee/leg is now almost fully functional. I’ve enjoyed the work so much I’ve now moved to working with him on upper body strength as well. A 5 star rating definitely doesn't do justice for just how good Chris is. When I first looked for a PT online I was so apprehensive and didn't know what to expect. Chris was fantastic from the very first contact I had and made me feel very comfortable and at ease. I initially approached Chris to support my training assisting me to lose weight and improve performance within the team sports that I played. What I didn't realise was that I would get so much more than this. Every time my personal circumstances changed Chris was there to support and adapt my training to meet my needs. Chris supported and adapted my training whether that was becuase I had picked up an injury playing sport or more recently throughout my pregnancy and return to training. Whatever your training needs Chris is fantastic and I would 100% recommend him.

Chris offered a range of exercises on a one to one personal trainer arrangement which I took up and have two, one hour sessions a week.
