Personal training studio in West Bridgford

My name is Chris Adams. I'm a personal trainer with over 10 years of experience, specialising in helping individuals over 45 improve their strength, mobility, and overall wellness. After years of training a variety of clients in a gym setting, I opened my own studio for 1-2-1 private personal training in West Bridgford.

The studio is ideal for clients over 50 years old who want to be stronger, move better, and experience less pain without the traditional gym environment.

With over a decade of experience, I've trained with clients who face various challenges, such as:

  • Clients up to 86 years old
  • Recovering from strokes
  • Living with lupus
  • Managing diabetes
  • Dealing with cerebral palsy
  • Coping with osteoporosis
  • Addressing dyspraxia
  • Recovering from surgeries, including ACL tears. Hip and knee replacements
  • Overcoming rotator cuff injuries
  • Managing weight issues (both obesity and being underweight)
  • Supporting complete beginners who doubt their ability to strength train

I'm dedicated to helping you achieve your goals safely and effectively!

Are you worried you won't be fit enough to start?

Don't worry! The program will be adapted to your current fitness level, and you won't be asked to do anything you're not capable of.The first session will be fairly easy while you learn how to perform the exercises correctly, and we will slowly build on from there.

Most of the people who come to me are over 45 years old and were beginners in strength training.

How to get started?

Step 1: Book a Free Consultation

Please contact me through the contact form, text, or call me. We will then book a consultation at a time that suits you.

Step 2: Consultation

You’ll come down to the studio or gym to have a look around and to chat about what you want to achieve. I'll explain how I work and what you should expect from personal training. We’ll chat through your goals, previous exercise and injury history, and I’ll gather all the information I need to put together a sensible, realistic plan tailored to you.

There will be no pressure or hard sell.

Just a casual chat about how I can help you.

Step 3: Your First Session

You won’t be asked to do anything you’re not capable of doing, or anything that makes you feel uncomfortable. If you’re new to training, the first session will feel fairly easy. It will be focused on seeing how you move and learning how to do the exercises correctly. You won’t be too sore that it has an impact on your daily life. You’ll be given full support and a plan for any training you receive during personal training sessions and for your solo sessions.
